BERG vineyard
The Austrian meaning of ‘Berg’ is mountain, and as the name already suggests these vineyards lie somewhat higher than the others. A lengthier ripening process of the grapes on the vine is thus possible, and only the cream of the crop will subsequently be harvested. These wines prove that they belong amongst the best in the world, yet due to the intense production conditions only a small number of bottles can be produced every year – real gold dust.|
